WAXGOAT118 Metztli (USA) - Ahuiani - Xochiquetzal - LP

Metztli, spearheaded by Y.E. as a backbone project behind Night of Palemoon label, was born from the urge to break free to leap into the unknown like the rabbit on the moon.

The rabbit, sacred and chaotic in Nahuatl mythology becomes the perfect emblem, a creature of lunar ecstasy, ancestral madness, and untamed motion. Just as the rabbit marks the moon not with stillness, but with story and movement, Metztli marks its own path through black metal, not by repetition, but by ritual, rupture, and rebellion.

Inspired by the raw, feral pulse of bands like Nuit Noire, Furdidurke, Bone Awl, and Milumet, this project abandons orthodoxy in favor of instinct, rhythm, and myth.

Ahuiani - Xochiquetzal, project's one and only album, is now available on vinyl with SIDE A as the original 2018 version, and SIDE B as 2024 Remixed/Remaster version.
