Following two successful split LPs in 2024, Silent Thunder returns with debut MLP Soulspear. Created and performed solely by M. — the driving force behind Lamp of Murmuur — this recording marks a clear return to the raw, hypnotic black metal style once M. mastered in his work of early Lamp of Murmuur: cold, relentless riffs slicing through impenetrable fog of darkness, building a thick atmosphere straight out of the mid-1990s underground.

Recorded in 2022 alongside other forgotten recordings that have now finally surfaced, Soulspear delivers four tracks steeped in eternal solitude, cosmic sorrow, and unending spiritual torment — a sincere tribute to the golden era of 1990s black metal.

All songs written and performed by M., except “Time Tryeth Truth,” written by David Tibet and originally performed by Current 93.
