WAXGOAT170 Beheaded Majesty (Chn) - In the Shadow of KunLun - LP

Beheaded Majesty is the Chinese fantasy-inspired cinematic dungeon synth project by Beijing-based musician Slave H, the original score producer for last year’s blockbuster AAA game @blackmythwukong.official. Beheaded Majesty was originally conceived as the soundtrack for an independent DOS-era RPG In the Shadow of Kunlun by our gaming sub-brand GSI. The album initially intended to accompany the game’s release, however the standalone release became inevitable as development delays persisted and the intricate compositions proved too expansive for the constraints of 3.5-inch floppy disks.

The eight chaptered cinematic dungeon synth mirror the game’s eight chapters, oscillating between tension and melancholy as they chronicle the millennia-spanning conflict between the Upper and Lower Clans over Kunlun City. Follow protagonists as they battle vengeful spirits in this epic saga.

Marking China’s first dungeon synth vinyl release, this album is crafted with trade mark GoatowaRex standard, housed in a Japanese 80s-style tip-on gatefold jacket, pressed on 180-gram heavyweight black vinyl, and complete with an OBI strip, strictly limited to 100 copies.
