WAXGOAT329 Maquahuitl/Mass Kontrol Genocide (Usa/Jpn) - Reverence and Veneration - LP
Blood stains the stone as the sun drinks the life from the earth and penetrates it by thunderbolt of solar nuclear abandon, the names of Maquahuitl and Mass Kontrol Genocide branded upon each by smot of darkest worship. A meeting of blood red suns from across oceans vast, Maquahuitl and Mass Kontrol Genocide have been working their foul magicks of black metal menance for many an age now, the former of indigenous Mexican glory, the latter of imperial Japanese reclamation. Thus it would make perfect sense for these forces to join in darkest allegiance with the iron hand of GoatowaRex, whom is proud to announce a split incantation by the name of Reverence and Veneration, upon a premium vinyl package of empirical worship.
Reverence and Veneration to shade the skies ablaze with the crimson sanctity of nations lost and nations reborn, of empires stretched across the heavens, only to be brought low beneath the ire of a sickly moon—promises of a glorious resurrection stained across charnel lips. The first half of Reverence and Veneration is taken by the mighty Maquahuitl, who once again strike hardest with their epic sounds of black metal glory, shimmering production favouring infectious tremolo melodics, blistering blast beat percussion, howling vocal oration and a defiant attitude of guerilla grim. The second half of Reverence and Veneration is taken by the totalitarian Mass Kontrol Genocide, whose stripped down fury of lo-fi black metal melodics would infect the minds of even the most haridest of mortals; traditionally influenced guitar mourn melodics, scathing viper vocal rasps, martial march drum beats, and relentless composition tearing bleeding hearts asunder. Reverence and Veneration is a meeting of military machinations, both entities complementing each other in battle brutality, a glory of sunstained nations brought to life with sounds of pyrrhic lament.
